Tony Sernack co-founded MACAW in 1993 following a strong track record in senior management/CEO in major Australasian corporations. A highly successful corporate strategist, he is also recognised as one of Australia's leading marketers with numerous major product successes and new product developments. Tony provides a results oriented approach to the strategic issues confronting senior executives and their companies. He has worked with many of Australia’s larger corporates and also government.
A graduate of Sydney University, Tony has served on numerous boards across a wide range of industries as well as NFPs.

STRATEGY FOR CLUBS
Many years ago Tony Sernack joined the board of his golf club and as a result introduced the concept of strategic planning. At the time this was largely absent from the club industry.
While the mainstream of the MACAW business was working with large corporates, over the years he has helped a number of clubs go through the same process.
In 2014, for Golf Management Australia (the national association of club managers), he distilled his deep experience into a practical guide to strategic planning for clubs and club boards, The Green Book. The principles covered in the book apply to any organisation.
